Teilnahmebedingungen / Participation Terms
These are the baseline participation conditions. For each specific event, the host (venue) may publish additional house rules; in case of conflict, the operator's conditions prevail for safety, fairness and legal compliance.
1. Operator (Veranstalter der Plattform)
Match Royale is operated by the entity named in the Impressum. The host venue is the organiser of the in-venue competition; Match Royale provides only the software platform.
2. Eligibility
- Open to natural persons aged 16 or older.
- Employees of the operator and their relatives are excluded from prize draws.
- Participation requires acceptance of these terms and the Privacy Policy.
3. Free participation, no stake
Participation is free of charge. No purchase, bet or wager is required to play, predict or win. Players are not gambling; predictions are skill-based forecasts.
4. No cash prizes
Prizes are non-monetary goods, vouchers, drinks, food or merchandise provided by the host venue. No cash, cryptocurrency or bank transfer payouts are offered. Cash alternatives are excluded.
5. How winners are determined
Predictions and live challenges are scored according to public scoring rules visible in the app (correct winner +2, exact score +5 bonus, trivia points as displayed). The player with the most points per event/matchday wins. Skill predominates over chance.
6. Prize collection
Winners collect prizes directly from the host venue, on-site, during the event or within the period announced by the host. The operator does not ship or store prizes.
7. Disqualification
The operator may disqualify participants for cheating, account sharing, automated play, abuse, harassment or violation of these terms or applicable law. Disqualified participants forfeit any accumulated points and prizes.
8. Data
See Privacy Policy. Nicknames are displayed publicly on the venue TV; do not use real names if you prefer to stay anonymous.
9. Liability
The operator is liable for intent and gross negligence and for breach of cardinal contractual duties; otherwise liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Statutory liability for personal injury and under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
10. Termination
The operator may end, suspend or modify a competition for technical, operational or legal reasons; reasonable substitute arrangements will be made where possible. The legal route is excluded (Rechtsweg ausgeschlossen) where permitted by law.
11. Governing law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection in the participant's country of residence remains unaffected.
